We offer services in Cypress, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe and the surrounding local areas. When booking we can discuss the best area to meet that is convenient for you and your family. Studio locations are available in Conroe and Spring. 

We typically suggest Maternity photos be taken anywhere from week 28-34 and for multiples, a bit earlier than that around 20-26 weeks. 

We typically suggest you schedule a Newborn session when you are in your second trimester. We book out several months in advance so it's best to get your preferred date scheduled in advance. For the timeframe of your session, once you have booked and paid your deposit to reserve a time frame, the photos should be taken between 4 days and 14 days new. This will be the prime "sleepy" and curled up look that most clients are wanting in a newborn session. We always make exceptions for baby's that arrive early and may have spent time in the NICU or have other complications. Just let us know and we can work with you!

For a typical investment most clients will spend about $400 - $1200+ depending on the type of session that is booked and what items each client prefers to purchase after the session is complete. A deposit is required to secure your photo session date and after the images are edited and uploaded to your personal online gallery you will then have the option to purchase from a variety of products including digital images, prints, wall art and custom albums. 

When inquiring about a session you can fill out the contact form and we will reach out to schedule a phone or video call to discuss your questions and talk details. If you are comfortable booking online, just browse through our Investment page to find the services you need and pay online. After you have booked a session, we will reach out to schedule a date and answer any questions you may have! 

We provide In-Home newborn family sessions and Studio sessions for your convenience. The difference depends on the flexibility and preference of each client. Studio sessions will incur an additional fee due to the necessity of renting a studio space and this fee will vary depending on weekday / weekend booking. For In-Home sessions the schedule is more flexible and we bring our studio items to you although the props are more limited due to the logistics of setting up in a small space such as a bedroom. These images are lifestyle type shots that capture you in the natural environment of the home setting and can be good for adding young siblings due to the comfort of familiar surroundings. 

When you opt for a studio session vs. an outdoor location or in Home session we will discuss the day and time which works for you and dates that are available for renting the studio. I use a photographers shared space studio in either Conroe or Spring. We can chat on the phone or message via email about details prior to your session. These studios have a many different props to match any style you prefer, a waiting area, bathrooms, ample parking and gorgeous natural light.

Finding the perfect outfit and planning a wardrobe choice may seem overwhelming for some. That is why we help you with our wardrobe planning services. In our studio we have a variety of simple & classic maternity and post maternity gowns for you to choose from. If those selections are not what you are looking for we have several favorite stores and online shops to recommend and color palette suggestions to share with you. We can always hop on a quick call to go over your questions! 

Typically we process the images and upload them to your personalized online gallery within 10-14 days. During peak busy season (holidays) the timeframe can be up to 3 weeks. 

Here at Vanessa Rachel Photography we pride ourselves on the high quality of customer service that is provided to every client and offer over 15 years of experience in the Photography industry. All of our packages include planning your session, access to our studio wardrobe, Photography time and talent, editing images, creating your custom online gallery and full retouching services. We feel offering a specific number of free digital downloads in addition to the above listed services is more than adequate for our package cost. If you love more images than is offered in your package, additional digital images or prints can be purchased in your gallery!

Albums, fine art prints and framed wall art are also available for purchase so you can display this beautiful art in your home. We offer services to help you choose the perfect items for your home. Investing in your memories is priceless!

YES! I do offer Boudoir sessions for anyone who is looking for classy, simple and elegant intimate portraits. This could be a sexy gift to your soon to be Husband or a bedroom style Maternity session to have as a keepsake. Sometimes it's just a fabulous thing to do for yourself! It will give you so much confidence and make you feel like a movie star. I will help you choose lingerie if you need assistance in finding what photographs best on your specific body type. Also don't worry if you don't know how to "pose" or you may be nervous. I will pose you and photograph the most flattering angles AND we always use retouching software to smooth skin and tuck or push where necessary!

Yes! I do offer Wedding Photography. I have been in the Photography industry almost 20 years. About 10 of those years I lived in New Orleans and Wedding photography was 90% of my business, it was wonderful! Since my move here to Houston about 6 years ago I decided to focus on Family, Maternity and Newborns since there are so many amazing people here in this city having kids and growing their families.
